Copies may be obtained by the Bidders at the office of the CM at Risk as an electronic copy or upon deposit of $100.00 for each full printed set of plans and specifications.  Contractors may obtain one (1) printed set upon refundable deposit.  Drawings and specs will be available after Noon on Friday, December 16, 2016Any unsuccessful bidder upon returning such complete sets promptly and in good condition within 25 days after bid date to the CM at Risk’s Office will be refunded his deposit; and any non-bidder upon so returning such sets will be refunded his deposit less the cost of reproduction.  The Architect and Construction Manager at Risk in no way shall be responsible for retrieval of plans from other locations. 

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 2:00 p.m., January 5, 2017, in room 211 at the Professional Development Center, 2600 Motley Drive, Mesquite, TX 75150.  Attendance is encouraged by an administrative representative of the company or corporation submitting a bid as a Sub-contractor for the following work:  Electrical, Structural Concrete, Paint, Drywall and Acoustical, Masonry, HVAC, HVAC Controls, Plumbing, Electrical, and Media Systems.

All Sub-Contractors for the above listed work shall prepare and submit to the Owner, one day prior to the time of the Receiving of Bids the Bidder Qualifications Section 00 43 36 showing evidence that the Sub-Contractor has successfully completed work on projects of similar size and scope, utilizing Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, and Media Systems equal to those specified.

Failure to be represented and to submit a completed Contractor Information Section 00 43 36 at the receipt of bids may eliminate a Sub-Contractor for the above trades from consideration for work on this project.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all proposals.
