Welcome to Mesquite ISD

We are excited to welcome you and your family to Mesquite ISD. All students of qualifying age living within the boundaries of the district are eligible to attend Mesquite ISD schools. The enrollment process for PreK - 12th grade begins online. See below for step by step instructions.

NOTICE: If your child is currently enrolled in the MISD Pre-K 3-year-old or 4-year-old program, you do not need to re-enroll for 2025-26 Pre-K or Kindergarten.

Step-by-Step Enrollment

To enroll your student in MISD (kindergarten through 12^th grade), please follow the instructions below and begin your journey to #MISDExcellence!
 

Step 1: Check the Online School Locator to determine which school your student will attend

NOTE: The following internet browsers translate online enrollment into other languages: Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. 

STEP 2: Request New Student Skyward Account

Click on the link above to request a Skyward account. Once you complete the request, you should receive an email with login information. 

Step 3: Gather your documents and complete the online enrollment in Skyward

What documents are required?

A parent or guardian is required to prove two things: (1) a legal right to enroll the student (parent’s name is on birth certificate or documents showing lawful control of the student under order of the court) and (2) permanent residency in Mesquite ISD via one document from each of the following lists. The address listed on both these documents must be the same.

After you complete the secure online enrollment process and upload the required documents, contact the school to complete the enrollment process. Be sure to visit our school basics page for links to all the information you'll need for an excellent school year in Mesquite ISD!

The District may investigate residency as necessary (including home visits) to verify the student currently resides in the District with the intention to remain.

Estamos emocionados de darles la bienvenida a usted y su familia a Mesquite ISD. Todos los estudiantes de edad calificada que viven dentro de los límites del distrito son elegibles para asistir a las escuelas de Mesquite ISD. El proceso de inscripción para los estudiantes de Pre-Kinder al 12º grado comienza en línea.

Para inscribir un estudiante nuevo de kinder-12º grado a Mesquite ISD, por favor siga las siguientes instrucciones y ¡comience su trayectoria a la Excelencia! 

PASO 1: REVISAR EL LOCALIZADOR DE ESCUELAS PARA DETERMINAR A QUÉ ESCUELA ASISTIRÁ SU ESTUDIANTE

PASO 2: SOLICITAR CUENTA DE NUEVO ESTUDIANTE EN SKYWARD

Hacer clic en el enlace superior para solicitar una cuenta de Skyward. En cuanto complete la solicitud usted debe recibir un correo electrónico con la información de ingreso.
 

PASO 3: RECOLECTAR SUS DOCUMENTOS Y COMPLETAR LA INSCRIPCIÓN EN LÍNEA EN SKYWARD

¿Cuáles son los documentos requeridos?

Un  padre o tutor necesitan comprobar dos cosas: (1) el derecho legal de inscribir al estudiante (el nombre del padre en el acta de nacimiento o documentos mostrando el control legal del estudiante bajo una orden legal) y (2) residencia permanente en Mesquite ISD.

Luego de completar el proceso de inscripción segura en línea y cargar los documentos requeridos, todo lo que tiene que hacer es esperar. Un funcionario escolar lo contactará para verificar y finalizar la inscripción. Mientras tanto, asegúrese de visitar la página de los conceptos básicos para acceder a los enlaces a toda la información que necesitará para tener un excelente año escolar en Mesquite ISD!

PASO 4: VISITAR NUESTRA PÁGINA DE CONCEPTOS BÁSICOS PARA ACCEDER A LOS ENLACES A TODA LA INFORMACIÓN QUE NECESITA de MESQUITE ISD

El Distrito puede investigar la residencia según sea necesario (incluyendo visitas al hogar) para verificar que el estudiante reside actualmente en el Distrito con la intención de quedarse.
