FR Meetings
Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month, with the exception of November, December, and May.  The FRs will receive important, fun, and money-saving information for Mesquite and the surrounding areas. You will have an opportunity to meet with Dr. Rivera and to win a door prize! Light refreshments are served at 4:00 p.m. The meetings begin at 4:20 p.m. and are held in the Boardroom at the PDC, unless otherwise notified. If you cannot attend, please arrange for an alternate to represent your facility.

FR questions are due by the end of every month during the school year, apart from May.

FR Questions provide an opportunity for MEA members to anonymously ask questions of district leadership that are of general interest to all employees. Submitted questions that are relevant only to a specific campus or situation will be referred back to the campus FR and principal for attention. 

Answers to district-level FR Questions are forwarded to all MEA members through the association's newsletter. MEA members can submit FR Questions to the campus Facility Representative before the end of the month.

 Each MISD Employee who joins MEA receives the following benefits:

MEA Dues

   - Professional Member: $15.00/year

   - Associate/Paraprofessional Members: $10.00/year

To Enroll:

Complete the membership Google Form and select payment options of cash, check, money order, or one-time payroll deduction (membership form due by the end of August for the payroll deduction option).  

• You must be signed in to your Mesquite ISD Google account to complete the membership enrollment process.

• If paying by cash, check, or money order, please submit payment to your Campus/Facility Representative or the MEA office in person to finalize membership and receive your membership sticker.

• If paying by one-time payroll deduction, please show your membership confirmation form email to your Campus/Facility Representative to receive your membership sticker.
