Excellence Happens Here

Apple Corps

Apple Corps

The Apple Corps program rewards excellence in teaching by honoring outstanding MISD educators. Established in January 1990, the program inducts two new teachers each month who are formally recognized at the School Board Meeting. Teachers are nominated by their peers, approved by administration, and celebrated in various ways throughout the year. This includes being recognized at the annual Apple Corps Gala, which celebrates retired and current inductees for their service and commitment to student success.
