Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Mesquite ISD offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provided through The Standard.
Services are available at no cost to all Mesquite ISD employees, their dependents (including children to age 26) and all household members.
All services are confidential and available 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Information shared with EAP professionals is protected under confidentiality laws and cannot be shared with your employer without your consent. Sessions can be done in person, on the phone, by video or text.
The EAP can help with the following areas:
- depression, grief, loss and emotional well-being
- Family marital and other relationship issues
- Life improvement and goal-setting
- Additions such as alcohol and drug abuse
- Stress or anxiety with work or family
- Financial concerns
