Mesquite ISD has been recognized as a 2026 CTE District of Distinction by the Career and Technical Association of Texas (CTAT), honoring the district’s commitment to providing students with exceptional opportunities for career and technical education across our six high schools and ten middle school campuses. This prestigious designation celebrates districts that demonstrate innovation, dedication, and excellence in preparing students for success in the modern workforce.

The recognition highlights Mesquite ISD’s robust 35 CTE Programs of Study, which equip students with real-world skills, industry certifications, and hands-on experiences that align with current and future workforce demands. Through partnerships with local businesses, advanced coursework, and a focus on student achievement, MISD continues to set the standard for excellence.
