Class of 2026

Karalynn exemplifies what it means to pursue excellence at the highest level. As the first female diver in Poteet High School history to qualify for the State Swimming and Diving Meet, and now a two-time state qualifier, she has set a new standard in the pool while continuing to raise the bar for those who follow. 

She serves as Drum Captain for the Pirate Band, competes in the Academic Decathlon, and was elected Vice President of the Senior Class. As the salutatorian for the Class of 2026, she will graduate with both AP credits and an associate’s degree. Throughout her journey in Mesquite ISD, Karalynn has been shaped by the support and high expectations of her teachers, coaches, directors, and family, helping her build lasting friendships and a strong sense of purpose.

What’s Next?

Karalynn earned an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point, where she will compete as a diver and study Chemistry, with the hope of one day working in military intelligence.
