Tamia has distinguished herself as a driven and resilient student leader who demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence, service, and personal growth. As an honor roll student, she consistently excels academically while remaining actively involved in Emerging Leaders, the National Honor Society, and Student Council, where she continues to develop her leadership skills and make a positive impact on her campus.
A dedicated member of the Mesquite High School Varsity All Stars Drill Team for three years, Tamia currently serves as social officer, reflecting her leadership, responsibility, and school pride. Her commitment to service extends beyond school through volunteer work at her church, and she has shown remarkable responsibility by maintaining a part-time job since the age of 16. Through her compassion, curiosity, and sense of purpose, Tamia reflects the opportunities and support that empower students to succeed in Mesquite ISD.
What’s Next?
Tamia will attend Texas State University, where she will pursue her goal of becoming a nurse practitioner.
