Mesquite ISD Earns 2026 TASBO Award of Merit for Excellence in Purchasing
Mesquite ISD is proud to announce that our Purchasing Department has been named a 2026 TASBO Award of Merit recipient by the Texas Association of School Business Officials. This statewide honor recognizes school districts that uphold the highest professional standards in purchasing operations, ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars and adherence to best practices in acquiring goods and services across the district.
The TASBO Award of Merit for Purchasing Operations is among the most respected recognitions in Texas school finance and operations, highlighting excellence, transparency, and ethical business practices. Only 84 organizations across the state earned this award for 2026, making this achievement a meaningful testament to the dedication and expertise of our Business Services team.
This accolade reflects Mesquite ISD’s ongoing commitment to serving our community with integrity, ensuring every dollar is used efficiently to support student success.
